Meet the Camp Music Director

Cheryl Stutz

Cheryl Stutz has been active in the St Joseph music and theatre scene for almost 20 years, through involvement in RRT, Sweet Adelines, New Generation Singers, CAP and other children’s theater, and teaches private piano and voice lessons. She has her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education from Emporia State University and taught public school music in Kansas, Oklahoma and St. Joseph for 22 years. This past fall, Cheryl began her 6th year as accompanist with the Benton High School choral program. Besides her time onstage as Eulalie in “Music Man” and Mother Superior in “Nunsense I and II” she has been the musical  director/accompanist for over 80 children’s, high school university and community theatre productions. Cheryl cherishes the opportunity to develop young people in their love of theatre!
