Vance Baldwin
Vance Baldwin, native of St. Joseph, Missouri, holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Vocal Emphasis from Missouri Western State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Vance recently started his own dance company, Reckless in Motion Dance Company, and continues to dance for Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company and Karlovsky & Company Dance. He has had the opportunity to dance and/or choreograph with Modern American Dance Company, City in Motion, 940 Dance Company, Reach…a movement collective, inc., Robidoux Resident Theater, Shawnee Mission: The Theater in the Park, Eubank Productions, Creative Arts Productions, and Thin Air Theatrics. He has also had the opportunity to work with artists such as Gina Patterson, Jennifer Archibald, Michael Foley, Michael Uthoff, Mikey Thomas, Jennifer Medina, and Dan DeMott, among others. Vance served as CAP director for the first time last year, having previously served for several seasons as our choreographer.
